Sometimes, like what I have just experienced and journeyed, circumstances dictate that normal routines and schedules are forfeit.

After late March’s disastrous flooding where I live and have my clinic space, things changed drastically. Apart from dealing with my own situation where all of the rooms on the ground level went under water over the bottom step, one of the schools where I work part time, also flooded, needed help. The whole administration and staff resource rooms, music room, sports room and grounds went under water.

And then, on the heels of this activity, all of this other work came along which had to be attended to, for another two institutions.

This resulted in my normal posts to social media stopping, due to sheer workload of hours, leaving just personal ablutions, food, and then bed, as priorities. I still maintained my spiritual duties – just.

I am still waiting on the building owners to affect their repairs on the ground level, before I can think about salvaging the equipment that Sonique sessions use, as all the lighting, sound, computer, cabling, connections to transformers, other support hardware, are just stacked away upstairs.

Today is a Sunday, the first off in so long a time, nearly two months. Hence I am writing this post, starting to get back to whatever “normal” happens to be.
